path of life

"A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.  The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for others... the redeemed shall walk there, and the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads.  They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away."  Isaiah 35:8-10

NewWorldSon - Today HD

This is one of my latest favorites... I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I have, and that you will take a moment, closing out every distraction, and give our sweet Lord God a moment out of your day to WORSHIP Him.  Lift your hands, lift your eyes and your heart to Heaven, surrender yourself to the Lord's lead.  You will feel His presence.  I pray that it's your desire for Him to change you more and more into His glorious image!
The words in this song are very meaningful.

NOTE:   I LOVE worship music like this.  I plan to be writing more on the topic (of worship) soon... its something that I have been giving a great deal of thought to.  It's such a beautiful thing when you put it in the right perspective.

a quote...

Christian contentment is that sweet, inward, quiet, gracious frame of spirit, which freely submits to and delights in God's wise and fatherly disposal in every condition.

WORSHIP GOD!

When was the last time you stopped for a moment to WORSHIP God?   The God who is awesome, perfect and unfathomably greater and bigger than anything we will ever know?  The God who spoke the 350,000,000,000+ galaxies into existence, and knit them all together with microscopic atoms?  The God who thought up music and flowers and warmth?  The God who stands outside the expanse of all He created, intimately aware of every single soul of the billions of humans who have ever lived on planet earth?  The very same God who spoke audibly and one-on-one with the the very first human, Adam, and with Abraham, Moses and King David... the God who, out of love so much greater than we could ever comprehend, gave the greatest sacrifice ever given-- the life of His equally amazing Son, Jesus Christ-- so that a race of imperfect people could be redeemed from their sin and take part in His perfect Paradise someday and escape the judgement we deserve.  The God who has empowered His children to live fearless, victorious lives in service to Him.

Wow.  We should be in awe of the Lord every moment of our lives as we see His constant leading and working with us each day.

"Oh God, You are my God; early I will seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.  So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.  Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.  Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name."
Psalms 63:1-4
